Thank you so much, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I'm a Norwegian who are depressed by the relativist attitudes that rule not just Norway but Scandinavia. Your writings gave me a feeling of optimism, a feeling I haven't had in a long time.

Please continue to do what it is you do.

I do not know much about neo-con but Bobby I agree with you on the Bush administration point. The people wanted war, wanted revenge post 9-11 but now with passage of time they have forgotten it. As far as Obama is concerned, he is being touted as a saviour, a messiah which I feel is a bit too much to expect from him. "The change" would probably not be as much or as quick that some people expect it to be.
George Bush may have negative issues but in some issues he was a boon to India more than any of predecessors, Bill Clinton included, the current nuclear status of India is a proof of that.
              For Obama: wait and watch.

Thank you for your comment Bobby.

You're right regarding the unfortunate blame laid upon Neoconservatism especially in connection to the Bush administration. More often than not, the people labelled as Neocons are in fact traditional Conservatives, like George Bush himself.

I'm glad you overcame your 9-11 conspiracy fever. I do remember a few posts of yours regarding that.

Yes, Obama has been hyped up ridiculously and not enough focus was put on his previous connections and history with certain hate-filled preachers and dubious characters.

Hi Edward! I feel strange calling you Edward after calling you Beaman for so long.

I admit in the past I've made some radical statements about politics and fell into the 9-11 conspiracy fever--and I feel silly about it now. I agree with some neoconservative ideas, but right now with America's (and the world's) hate affair with the Bush administration--neoconservatism is often held to blame.

I also believe that after 9-11, America wanted war . . . to get revenge--I'm referring to the average citizen. Years later, people forget they wanted revenge--to bring them to justice--now they're in opposition to all war. Overall, the term neocon has been given a bad name. I'm extremely liberal on social issues, but prefer small government and low taxes. But I do oppose war for the most part. Sure I agree with the initial war in Afghanistan, but the war on Iraq is still unjust in my eyes. Next time, they had better have proof before attacking.

I still believe the US government is a strangled blood-knot of corruption and it makes almost any ideology difficult to succeed. Think about this: if the American economy were flourishing right now, the hatred of Bush would be far less. People blame this one man for all the world's problems--and that somehow another man named Obama is our savior. It is a bit ridiculous.

Fantastic interview. Whether I agree with all his views or not, he is a brilliant guy.

Awesome! Glad to know that American Conservatives aren't the only ones left on the planet that believe freedom is worth fighting for.

Give me Liberty, or give me DEATH!!
